I am on day 19 of my 2nd time on Rifampin and the past 3 days I have felt a bit nauseated. Today it seems worse. I am NOT happy about this at all! I take lots of pain and aches but NOT nausea! Any suggestions?

I have two suggestions.
The first is dairy, dairy, dairy (if you tolerate it). I know we're not supposed to eat it with Mino or Doxy, or if we have yeast, but it is the best antibiotic buffer. I live on plain unsweetened yogurt. I even ate it with Mino, and I herxed just fine. But ask your doctor about that.
My other suggestion is to try a different generic brand, if there is one.
I was extremely nauseous the first time I took Placquenil. I spent three days on the couch. I assumed I was intolerant of the drug.
My doctor really wanted me on it, so I tried a different generic from a different pharmacy. I was fine.
