My husband began having night sweats, joint pain, severe headaches and loss of appetite. He remembered a tick bite about 10 days before. Our doctor did the test for Lymes and it came back negative, but, came back positive for Parvo Virus B19. He is still having the same symptoms and it has been over 3 weeks. We are wondering if he should see a specialist to see if there was a false negative test.

Would appreciate any information on a doctor in the area.

People seeking doctors might be able to get help from their state online information and support group. Nearly 3,400 people belong to state groups. Some of the groups are small but more than 20 of them have 50 or more people and seven have over 100.

The groups are moderated and you have to apply. Most don't allow doctor names, but once on the group, you can ask for doctors in a certain area and ask people to email you privately.

To find your state group, go to

Type your state name and lyme as one word, like this -

South Carolina is the only state that needs a hyphen between the statename

I'm from your area. Both my daughters and I have Borrelia, Bartonella and Babesia from tick bites.

We travel out of state to see doctors. I will PM you the info.

thanks! I read the info on this doc, is he one to help with lymes or is the Dr. c a better way to go?? I am not sure I could find a way to get to Mo, this guy in Tn. seemed to talk more about herbs, nutrition, like a wholistic doctor Vs a medical doctor. Or am I misreading this information??? You said he is helping your husband??

Please post ALL NEW REQUESTS for a doctor in a NEW AND SEPARATE POST.

Our volunteers, who help with LLMD referrals, look for "NEW" requests and don't go back to look at older Topics that have already been answered.

We would not want your request to go unnoticed and unanswered.
