Hi my name is ..well Tommy will do... I'm 23 I Have been suffering for some time with all kinds of symptoms. Doctors don't seem to have a clue as to what is wrong with me. It was about 2 years ago I went to a hospital and they discovered that I had viral meningitis. It almost killed me. They treated me for bacterial first till they found out nothing grew in the cultures they took of my spinal fluid. They treated me with penicillin G for about 3 days. They stopped and started giving me anti viral meds after that. I felt alot better. So they sent me home on meds about 5 days later. About 3 weeks later I started feeling bad again the eye floaters returned and I felt a lot like I did when I first went to the hospital. Tired ,weak, arms and legs hurt bad my keens were really puffy and swollen. Anyway I went back to them and had to suffer another spinal tap for meningitis . Nothing.. Was negative. They sent me home on pain meds and said some people have a lot of problems after having miningitus. They set me up an appointment with a neurologist and that was that. Anyway long sorts short they never found anything I have had 2 titers for lyme but both were negative so my doctor started looking at other problems that could be causing this. I found out about a year later that a friend of mine who has been living with lyme for 3 years had 3 titers done and all were negative. He told me he had it for 8 months before they found his. I told him of my symptoms and he said Tommy that sounds a whole lot like what's wrong with me. He started asking me things about my symptoms and then ask if around the time I had saw any rash like thing ..like A bug bite or something, I was like.. wait a sec.. OMG yeah I had this round red bite mark I had gotten when I was playing paint ball in the woods with my buds from work. He asked me what it looked like and I described it. He got on the net and showed me some pics and said ..like that? I was like holy ****.. JUST LIKE THAT. He said Tommy I think you had better talk to a doctor ..you have been sick for a vary long time and you need treatment. So here I am. I need help bad I would like to find an LL.MD in Maryland .. Baltimore if possible. Ps. I'm sorry this post is messed up so much I am like half dead here.
