I am adult seeking a doctor who cares for Lyme disease patients I have had the disease for 1 and 1/2 years and on my third treatment.

My infectious disease dtr, who is a member of general practioner's group here in southern MD, will no longer see new Lyme patients. I had never tried to engage this doctor since I was very hopeful I would be cured after my initial treatments that I didnt reach out for a specialist--much less one that specializes in Lyme.

I have submitted my patient records to Dr A located in northern Maryland who was caring for Lyme patients but, after waiting a month and no decision if he will take me as a patient, I need to move on and find another doctor.
