Have a two year old that has so far only been diagnosed with an "infected insect bite", developed classic bullseye rash 3rd day after bite. Found the tick in bedroom today 4th day. Need a pediatric diagnosis for tick borne diseases quick and am running into some difficulty getting it so far. Any good pediatricians in my area?

Hi, I am in Canton. Same problem with my daughter, was told it was ringworm. DOnt go to Towne Lake pediatrics or Emory. If she still has the rash I would go to urgent care and bring the tick with you for testing. Google georgia lyme disease and it will tell you where to take the tick. Make sure you say she had a tick bite. If you run into trouble I can give you some LLMD's but they are out of state. The sooner treated the better
