I am a 36 year old mother of three diagnosed with CNS Lyme in Dec '09. I had my third child in July of '09 and slept in the living room with her - where my dog also sleeps. Had a strange looking bulls-eye like rash on my inner thigh two days after coming home from the hospital which was misdiagnosed as ringworm.
Needless to say, hives appeared shortly thereafter and two courses of steroids later I began to have the symptoms of CNS lyme.
I had a PICC line inserted in Dec '09 - 30 days of Roceferin (sp?)... prior to that 2 x doxy and was bit again in April of '10 - more doxy.
Symptoms are getting worse, being sent to neuro-opth, MRI of brain is clear as of Nov of '09 - might be thinking MS... Looking for some help.
Thank you for this website. I feel better knowing someone gets it! Posts: 1 | From Upstate New York | Registered: Jul 2010

- As you had the classic bulls eye, a lyme literate MD is in order. MS usually misdiagnosed with lyme or similar infection being the underlying cause. Proper treatment often clears symptoms but 30 days is not long enough.
I don't usually work with lists here but see that there has been an explosion of requests and the person(s) doing this are probably very overwhelmed.
Until someone sends you a PM with a list, you might find your area lyme support group and start there. Good luck.
