Hi there!

I'm a (approaching 30) year old female and I suspect I may have Lyme's...however, I feel I may have had it for some time now.

A few years ago my symptoms came on very suddenly. I have very sensitive skin so if I had any kind of rash I most likely would have disregarded it. I was also extremely sick a few years back and wound up in the hospital with 'mono-like' symptoms for days, but the doctors never confirmed mono.

Since the initial illness, I have had some chronic issues. Mainly a constant headache (left side), constant pressure/fullness at the base of my skull and in my ears, sharp pains (chest, back, arm), neck pains, head twitches, digestive issues, swelling feet, etc. I also started having extreme panic attacks. I've seen many doctors and even went through sinus surgery to no avail. I believe I was tested for Lyme's once this past year, but was told the test was negative so I didn't think twice.

Does anyone know where I can find a doctor near me who can test for Lyme's? I've been living with these symptoms for years and have begun to tell myself it's all anxiety, and in my head! The problem is...it never goes away! So much of what so many people have described sounds like me...I'm hoping to finally find an answer.

Thanks for any help...
PTH

I don't usually work with lists here but see that there has been an explosion of requests and the person(s) doing this are probably very overwhelmed.

Until someone sends you a PM with a list, you might find your area lyme support group and start there. Good luck.

I'm sorry but I am no longer accepting any private messages due to my own battle with lyme.
