Hello folks. I am looking for a good Lyme-literate doc in Massachusetts/Northern Ct. I had an MRI done last friday with lesions showing on the brain so a possible MS diognosis was given. I apparently do not exhibit any typical symptoms of MS. I have been attached and bitten by many ticks over the years the last time I know of was last November but other than some very severe allergy-like sypmtoms in the past 2 months (i've never so much as sneezed in Spring before) I have had no bullseye rash or fever or nausea. A nuerologist looked at me yesterday and thought the same thing (possibly something else going on other than MS) but is going forward with more tests including spinal tap etc. over the next few weeks. A person here in Ma. referred me to one doc in Ct. but the cost was very high and i'm wondering if any Lyme-literate docs ever take insurance? Any help is very much appreciated. I have never wanted to contract Lyme disease but at the moment i'd accept it over MS!

Oh btw I have had 2 negative Lyme test results done at the hospital since Friday but I understand that sometimes traditional doctors/labs don't know what to test for as far as Lyme goes?
