I have been ill for a minimum of 3 yrs. At least 3 yrs ago is when I learned of Chronic Lyme and that I have nearly all the symptoms. I have had 2 Lyme tests, the thorough one that I can't remember the name of. The first one 1 I was 1 blot short of being diagnosed, then when they changed the laws that would make me qualify the Dr. did another test, and I again came up 1 blot short. Within the last 3 yrs. I have lost my job then lost my home. I currently live in MD, but plan to move to GA in the near future so I would love to find a Dr. in both places that will diagnose me by symptoms not blood tests.. I am doing better since starting a regimine of 3 lyricas daily, 2 cymbalta's, wellbutrin for depression, and pain medication as needed. Some symptoms are still increasing, such as degenerative disc in my back, facial numbing on the right side, joint pains, vision and hearing loss. If you can, I would appreciate any help!!

You would have better luck in MD than in GA, finding a doc.

ARGH, that's not what I was hoping to hear. The man is relocating for his job and I am eventually going to have to move also. If I have to stay here for treatment, or maybe travel back home once a month I guess that's what I'll have to do..

Lyme is not in Georgia according to all the Doctors. You will not get help here.

I'm sorry but I am no longer accepting any private messages due to my own battle with lyme.

GA is a hard place to be when looking for a LLMD. If you are moving to the East Coast of GA at least you have an option of being closer to FL where there are a bunch more Drs.

I've called every Dr. listed in GA, even saw one. Didn't like that LLMD and they dropped me like a bad habit. One I called on Monday wasn't accepting new patients, and another is on leave indefinitely. Then one won't ever call you back and if you are too difficult for her (which I am NOT that difficult) she will refer you to a Dr. up north. LOL.

GA is not a good Lyme state at all. Like previous poster no one here believes in Lyme.
