There is a family friend who has ALS and doctor's have no clue what's going on with her for the past 6 years, and they told her it's depression. She lives in Australia.

I need a lyme doctor for her over there. She needs to get help as soon as possible!!!!

I suggest you click on "Support Groups" on the left side of the page. You will see Australia listed.

There is one support group listed for Australia. Try to contact them for some names for her.

Hope this helps her!

Also, I saw a post where Ann--OH said she had contacts for Australia. So, you might want to send her a private message asking for her contacts.

Thank you for helping your friend! She has a chance to get treated now.

You can tell her and her family to read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub and look at the parts about Dr M discovering his ALS was Lyme and getting treated for it. He recovered and spoke at a CA Lyme conference - it was extremely moving to hear him.

I still really need a doctor for this women!!!

She needs help really bad. Anyone can please help?

I am trying to do my best, I am sending information to the family to educate them about lyme disease.

But this woman really needs a doctor, I am just afraid she'll go to a regular doctor and they'll tell her it's not lyme.

Did you send Ann-OH a private message? She said she had contacts for Australia.

Did you contact the support group?

I think there are only one or two LLMDs there.
