I don't know of any in Suffolk County. And, I don't recommend any of the ones in New York City.
What other states are you willing to travel to for good care? I suggest you add them to the title of your post. That will increase your chances of getting some names.
Also, see Support Groups on the left side of the page. Contact those in your state and all that are in surrounding states.
You want to get personal recommendations for lyme doctors. Get as many as possible. You want a doctor who has cured at least one person of lyme, preferrably three.
You see, many doctors treat lyme disease but very few have enough expertise to get rid of the disease for you. You have to find one of those few.
Do an awful lot of research, because you are going to have to put out some money for one of these docs.
If you have not already done so, I suggest you read and study the Burrascano Lyme Treatment Guidelines found here:
This document was written by a doctor for doctors, so it is not an easy read. But, it will give you your education on this disease.
Burrascano was the most famous lyme doctor on the planet, located in the Hamptons. Too bad he is retired.
The best lyme doctors are not taking new patients right now. This is typical. So, a new person has to start with a lesser doctor and work their way up to the top doctors over time.
Be willing to travel as good lyme doctors are few and far between. At least half of all lyme patients go out of state for their care.
