Looking for a doc for my friend. She was recently bit (twice), has a small bullseye and is pregnant.

Unfortunately, the bull's-eye rash is indicative of Lyme. Your friend needs to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
When she calls for an appointment, she should ask if they have any cancellations or a waiting list. Patients have been able to get in sooner by doing this.
The top Lyme pediatrician, Dr. J, has put together a protocol for pregnant women with Lyme which can be followed with one's own doctor. I sent you his contact info. Have her call his office to ask for more information.
She should read the new book written by Dr. H, the top Lyme-literate doctor, entitled, "Why Can't I Get Better?". It is an excellent source of information.
Also "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Check the local library or buy it used on Amazon.
