I registered for my daughter who was diagnosed with Lyme just recently. She is 22 and best guess is has had Lyme for about 6 years. Trying to find a LLMD? Any help appreciated.

Welcome to Lymenet! PM sent for NC, VA & MD.
Many patients have experienced the same thing, getting countless so-called diagnoses, including Fibro (which is not a disease but symptoms resulting from a bacterial/viral infection).
You did not mention how old your daughter is. This is important to know so we know which doctor's information to send you because some Lyme-literate doctors only treat adults.
Also, you should write what state you are looking for in your title. Click on the pencil/paper icon, make your changes, then click "Edit post".
Your dear daughter needs to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment! She also needs to be tested for co-infections which come with Lyme disease.
LLMDs are far and few between, unfortunately. You need to go where they are.
Most LLMDs do not take insurance due to the politics surrounding this disease. Read poster TF's explanation about this:
Btw - please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems from Lyme. Thanks.

There is a Dr. P in Raleigh. He has studied with some of the leading Lyme Docs up north. I have not been to him.
It is a integrative medicine clinic. I am looking into it and my PA recommended him.
