Age 47 Male diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) for 20+ years, still unresolved.
Escalation of muscle weakness and joint pain in various locations in recent years.
Most extreme symptom is chronic migraines, caused/associated by/with chronic inflammation of neck and shoulder pain. Frequency increased to almost daily.
History of "come and go" IBS.
Unable to function without daily prednisone treatment.
Any direction would be appreciated.

Steroids are contraindicated for Lyme, because they suppress the immune system and cause Lyme to go deeper into the body. Consequently, the patient gets even sicker.
When calling for an appointment, ask if they have any cancellations or a waiting list. Patients have been able to get in sooner by doing this.
Most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease.
