Been bungling around with treatments for close to 5 years now and after some initial wins, I've just plateaued. Current LLMD pretty much relies on me to do the research and suggest what to try next.
Willing to travel anywhere in the country to see a top LLMD, who is taking new patients.
Please PM me and let me know of some of the top doctors out there. Thanks for the help!

Welcome to Lymenet! PM sent with some suggestions.
You should not have to do the research for your doctor or suggest what to try next with a doctor who is Lyme-literate! They should be the ones telling you!!
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are.
Also, most LLMDs do not take insurance due to the politics surrounding this disease. Read poster TF's explanation about this:
When calling for an appointment, ask if they have any cancellations or a waiting list. Patients have been able to get in sooner to see a LLMD by doing this.
Some more resources for you (including Support Groups info): www.lyme-aware.org
Read the new book written by Dr. Horowitz, the top Lyme-literate doctor, entitled, "Why Can't I Get Better?". It is an excellent source of information.
Also "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Check your local library or buy it used on Amazon.
