I live in PA and am seriously considering traveling to FL for a visit with Dr S. Have had a phone consult already. Has anyone on this site gone to FL to see him and if so what was your experience?
I was diagnosed Lyme/Bartonella 2011, been on many Rx and natural treatments, still not well, but PCP who has been treating me exclusively feels it might be gone and now diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome which I do not agree with. Igenex labs show # of fingerprint WB bands as well as possible active bartonella still.

Welcome to Lymenet! PM sent with some suggestions.
You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
They are far and few between, unfortunately. You need to go where they are.
Most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
Your original post is a bit confusing. Are you looking specifically for information about Dr. S or looking for additional LLMDs in FL?
Instead of writing "Seeking a Doctor in FL" in your title, you should change it to read, "Need Feedback on Dr. S in FL". That way more people will see it and respond. Click on the pencil/paper icon, make your changes, then click "Edit post".
When calling for an appointment, ask if they have any cancellations or a waiting list. Patients have been able to get in sooner to see a LLMD by doing this.
