Hi I'm posting on someone else's behalf. About a year and a half ago someone important to me had a bullseye mark on them. I told them what it was and to go to the doctor. He had the 1-2 week antibiotic treatment. We forgot all about it.
This year, a year later, age 24 he has parkinsons. He has trouble walking/talking/tremors. Anyway I heard it could be linked to his lyme.
Who should we go see?

Welcome to Lymenet! PM sent with some suggestions.
The bull's-eye rash is definitive for Lyme disease and your friend was under-treated with only 1-2 weeks of antibiotics.
Your friend needs to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
No LLMDs in GA. They are far and few between, unfortunately. He needs to go where they are.
Most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
When calling for an appointment, ask if they have any cancellations or a waiting list. Patients have been able to get in sooner to see a LLMD by doing this.
