Need to find LLMD in Texas. Live around San Antonio/Austin area. My son 25 just moved back home with us. He has seen 3 neurologists, none can pinpoint what he has. He's been told he has MS, fibro, 10 lesions in brain, one they thought was a tumor at first, possible sjogren's, migraine headaches, terrible muscle and joint pain, tics which almost look like seizures and now he is being sent to a hematologist cause his WBC is high, proteins in blood high and leukocytes high. He is having lots of psychiatric problems (was diagnosed bi-polar) and cognitive problems. When he was 6-7 we lived in Pennsylvania and around 17 in Wisconsin. Both places were heavily wooded and he was always in them. He has tested negative for lyme twice in the last 6 months. His symtoms are so bad he had to move in with us so we could help him. Desperate to help him find an answer before it's too late.

So sorry your dear son is going through this. He needs to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
They are far and few between, unfortunately. You need to go where they are.
Also, most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
When calling for an appointment, ask if they have any cancellations or a waiting list. Patients have been able to get in sooner to see a LLMD by doing this.
Btw - please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems from Lyme. Thanks.
