Your husband needs to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are.
Also, most LLMDs do not take insurance due to the politics surrounding this disease. Read poster TF's explanation about this:
When calling for an appointment, ask if they have any cancellations or a waiting list. Patients have been able to get in sooner to see a LLMD by doing this.

There is a good doc in Seattle.
HaP probably sent you that docs name.
There are three docs in BC Canada who's majority of patients are late stage lyme.
If the doc in Seattle has a super long waitlist, please PM me and I will send you the BC docs contact info.
Just a suggestion to also ask about being put on a cancellation call list, in case a patient cancels and your hubby can get in sooner.
