I have been miserably sick for two months with fevers, tingling in my hands and feet and sometimes everywhere, exhaustion, achiness, and weird neurological symptoms like a droopy eyelid, sensitivity to noise, and more.
Last week a friend of mine asked if I'd had a tick bite and it flooded over me - I had! I found a tick just a couple of weeks before all this started and I found it after we'd stayed on a farm in an area where Lyme is endemic.
I got in to see my doctor today and when I told him about the tick, his mouth fell open. He said that would explain everything. He's pretty certain that I have neurologic Lyme disease.
This has been horrible. It is causing problems with my business and making me miserable. I'd like to find a doctor experienced in treating neurological Lyme to increase the chance of actually getting well.

Lyme disease can definitely cause neurological problems.
You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
They are far and few between, unfortunately. You need to go where they are.
Also, most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
