I'm looking for a doctor in NC. It's for me and I'm an adult.
I was given a couple of names from various sources. One looked good (Dr. P) until I saw a review on Angies List that said he does not tolerate being questions about his methods.
He's not for me, I question everything. So I need someone who will treat me as a member of the team instead of a bottomless pit of money.
Thanks.

You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
They are far and few between, unfortunately. You need to go where they are.
Also, most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
If you are willing to travel to the D.C. area, let me know. I can give you the name of a doctor you will like. He likes to educate the patient and will discuss with you.
After the first appointment, he will do Skype or phone appointments, so you wouldn't be traveling here all the time.
