I am a 21 year old seeking a LLMD on the Big Island of Hawaii (Kona). I would be willing to travel to the other Hawaiian islands if needed.
I have not been diagnosed with Lyme Disease but am showing symptoms so close to it. I am not sure where to begin with all of this and think a LLMD would probably be the best place to start.
I truly would appreciate any help I could get! Thank you!

Welcome to Lymenet! I don't know of any in Hawaii. You would have to travel to CA if you are able.
You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
They are far and few between, unfortunately. You need to go where they are.
Also, most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
