Our 6 year old son was diagnosed with Lyme disease six months ago. He was treated successfully with a 21 day course of antibiotics.
Unfortunately, his symptoms have returned with a vengeance. His most recent bloodwork ordered by our pedi came back negative for Lyme. She seems to be at a loss as to how to help us.
We know at this point how important it is to see a LLMD. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide us.

Your dear son needs to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease and its complex treatment! A 21-day course of antibiotics is just not enough to treat this horrible disease.
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are.
Also, most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
