I'm posting for a very close friend of mine who I believe has chronic lyme since 2009. She is in Burlington NJ and can't drive (she is only 38). She needs a llmd in the NJ area but may be able to travel to PA or DE.
Thanks! Barb

Your friend needs to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
They are far and few between, unfortunately. She needs to go where they are. None in DE.
Also most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Have her read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
When calling for an appointment, have your friend ask if they have any cancellations or a waiting list. Patients have been able to get in sooner to see a LLMD by doing this.
