I am looking for a Dr in LA and have been away from a lyme specialist for over a year now. I was previously seeing Dr. C in Tampa, FL.
I am not just looking for a LLMD but a Lyme Specialist. I briefly went to Dr. G in San Jose but the Dr. was very hard to see and very expensive and not even very close to LA.
Definitely looking for someone who is more on the leading edge of Lyme treatment and diagnosis rather than just someone who is Lyme Literate if you get what I mean.
Please let me know who are known as the top Lyme doctors in CA and the closer to LA the better.

Still looking for more recommendations from others. Looking for Lyme specialists who have been treating chronic lyme for years.
Looking to research them and also to see which name(s) come up the most often.
Am willing to drive a couple of hours out of LA if thats what it takes to get the better doctor. LMK everyone!!

I always thought LA was one of the places that multiple top Lyme Drs in the US were located? Is this not the truth? Can some of the very experienced posters/mods give me some info on that?

bump. I've spoken to Robin and he/she is very very helpful and seems to know a ton about the CA doctors.
I have a naturally investigative personality and I just have OCD about the idea of only one reference. I do trust Robin's knowledge but would like to speak to some other people who are well versed or have good/bad stories about Southern CA doctors and the surrounding areas.
