Diagnosed with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever after having it 3+ months.
No fever , no rash = hard time figuring out why all my joints are swollen, painful and stiff among other symptoms.
Spent a week in the hospital due to chest pains and not being able to control my pains at home. Unfortunately the Drs really don't have any clue of what they are talking about.
Looking for a specialty Doc that can give me some good advice and answers. TIA
You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Btw - please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems from Lyme. Thanks.

OH wow... you are bound to have Lyme also .. Keep that in mind.
So glad you found out and there is a wonderful LLMD in MO!
My mother had RMSF in the 60's and spent a week in the hospital in Houston, TX. Took them that long to figure it out even being in the hospital. I guess it was something totally off their radar back then!
I'm sure she had Lyme also but was never diagnosed.
