Feel like I'm going insane, would love opinions. Tested negative for Western Blot 2x, two diff labs, one at a Bos hospital.

Only one band shows "reactive" for old Lyme treated effectively back in '08. Lyme titer and IGM and IGG neg.Have seen Rheum,InfecDis,Neur, tested neg for everything under the sun incl Fibromy,Lupus, MS,Reac Arthr, RA,EpstBarSynd, viruses, etc.

Have heavy muscles, stiff arthralgic left knee, stiff neck, lower back, very uncomf, slight headaches, tired and frustrated. Drs say no Lyme since when given 100mg Doxy for 12 days (when waiting for tests to come back) did nothing for me.

Let me try a short stint w prednisone which worked great, only to wear off and return to same pain.Seeing an ILAD Dr on the NShore who uses the Lyme lab in CA (wont say name) to get an accurate test in two weeks. Feel like I can't wait I'm so sore.

I was a healthy, active, in shape female until first week in July. What else could I have? Feel that the doxy was not enough to treat or to see any kind of change, and the test isn't coming up positive bc of "bio films" or inaccurate testing, or equipment? Crazy? Am I missing something? Sure seems like Lyme.

Any observations welcome. Looking forward to my upcoming, yet Out-of-Pocket expensive appointment with a Dr who seems to believe in treating Lyme aggressively and the notion of cronic Lyme as well!

Thank you so much for any opinions, speculations or ideas to calm me down! Been suffering since about July 1, 2015.
