Newest llmd in seattle doesn't do pain meds. I was cut off and told to just do medical marijuana. Medical marijuana isn't helping me AT ALL.
I had no side effects on my previous pain meds. They didn't effect my mind or energy and didn't make me sick. They just made my pain tolerable.
Now I am incapacitated in pain all the time again.
I need a doctor who is willing to treat pain from lyme, but I do not need that doctor to treat my lyme, as I already have an llmd
Really can't afford TWO lyme doctors. And regular doctors send me a way when they find out I have lyme.
FYI, I am an old member on this board and do not need all the general lyme info that gets sent out to NEW people. Thanks!

- You won't likely find a MD in Oregon who would fit the need (even if you don't need them to treat lyme, they will not understand the damage lyme can do so would fall short in understanding how to help manage pain from lyme), so you might focus more on Washington state.
Although, a LL ND would be what I'd suggest and as you are just across the river, you might look to one of the ILADS educated LL NDs in the Portland area. They have many options regarding pain management and would understand how lyme impacts such.
I suggest connecting with the lyme support groups so that folks right there on the ground might guide you. -

- they will also know about SW Washington state where you appear to be located. Just make it clear what your need to focus on pain management. -

- While this is not exactly a thread for pain management, just want to be sure you have this note. Berberine has been so helpful to me regarding pain management. It may be for you, too. And it is very complementary to most protocols.
