I was diagnosed with late stage lyme in 2008.
Symptoms included serious cognitive impairment resulting in loss of "dream job".
I was treated effectively, had been symptom free for about 3 yrs & returned to full-time work.
Vague & variable symptoms (that can be easily dismissed as other things) have been showing up periodically over the last 6-8 months, but my lyme doctor has retired.
In the last 2 months cognitive symptoms have become much more clear, consistent, and frequent.
I need a new lyme doctor ASAP. I was completely incapacitated due to lyme 2007-2009. I can't go back there again, please help!

You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
