Hello, I am seeking a doctor in Southeastern, PA.
Sick for 32 of 42 years and my general physician(of 15 yrs) is not understanding or accepting Chronic Lyme as a valid diagnosis.
My pain is unending(all large joints and lower back), sleep 2-3 hrs of broken sleep and trying to stay employed.
Just want a chance to get well and be pain free.... before I forget what its like to just be, me.
Thanks for your time, Demian

Are you willing to travel to the D.C. suburbs for good care? If so, I can send you the name of the doc I am recommending.
He is better than those in the southeastern Pa area based on many patient reports. And, he will do monthly telephone appointments so you would only have to drive here once every 3 months.
Let me know.
And, welcome to LymeNet! We will help you here all we can.

You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are.
Also most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
