I was diagnosed with chronic lyme in 2010 by Dr. R. However, I live in Massachusetts and I am looking for a LLMD in Massachusetts to continue my treatment, preferably someone who takes insurance.
My primary care physician who treats chronic lyme has just told me that she is stepping away from her practice. She is in a well known group in Norwood Mass.
I am devasted because she is very knowledgeable in lyme. She has told me that none of her colleagues believe in chronic lyme.
Also, my 12 year old son has been having health issues and was just diagnosed with Cyclic vomiting. After researching this I have found that lyme disease mimics this condition. However, his pediatrician refuses to test him for lyme.
So, I am looking for a Massachusetts doctor for myself and one for my 12 year old son as well. Any help you can give me is appreciated.

You both need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Btw - I know you are new to Lymenet, but please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems from Lyme. Thanks.
