I'm seeking a LLMD in the Northern NJ/Westchester NY/NYC or even PA area. I live in Lake Hopatcong NJ and willing to travel for a good referral. Being treated by infectious disease doctor for over a year now, and neurologist, etc. and it's not helping. Thanks in advance for any info!

Sorry you are having such a rough time.
www.MarylandLyme.org has a doctor referral page that covers all states. You can find it listed in the left hand menu. Good luck! Feel better soon!

I don't recommend any of the lyme specialists in the areas you named. If you are willing to travel to the Washington, D.C. area, let me know. The doc I recommend will do telephone appointments so you would only have to travel to the D.C. area once every 3 months.
Welcome to Lymenet! We will help you as much as we can.

You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Btw - I know you are new to Lymenet, but you should not write the name of your town, because this is a public forum with all sorts of people on it. Read this link about it:
To remove it, go to "My Profile" in the top middle section of the Lymenet page under Lymenet Flash, then click "Edit Profile" on the left-hand side.
Scroll down to "Profile Fields" then down to "Location". Make your changes, then click "Update Profile".
I would also remove the name of your town from your post. To do this, click the pencil/paper icon, make your changes, then click "Edit Post.
I don't know if you are using your real name as your username on Lymenet, but I would not use it here for the same reasons listed above. You would have to contact one of the moderators in order to change it.
