We took my niece (25) camping in Summertown, TN about 2 weeks ago (May 25-27) where we all received a number of tick bites.
She's home now in Spring Hill, an hour north of Tampa.
My niece is not sure if she's having any symptoms, has had a couple of aches she's not sure about. She'll see a primary doctor on Monday, and ask for a Western Blot test.
If anyone has any recommendations for an LLMD in her area (or mine, Miami), it is greatly appreciated.
Thank you and good luck to all.

Your niece needs to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. She needs to go where they are. There was one in Tampa, bu he retired.
Also, most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
When your niece calls for an appointment, have her ask if there are any cancellations or a waiting list. Patients have been able to get in sooner by doing this.

Thank you both for your replies and pm. I'll follow up on the links. FloridaLyme.ordg led me to this page for lists of LLMDs by state: https://sites.google.com/site/lymedoctors/. (She's waiting for results to her Titer Lyme test. My Western Blot was positive (5 of 10) and I'm on doxy now.)
