I am seeking a LLMD or Lyme Friendly MD in Northern or Central CA that is an Infectious Disease Specialist or Neurologist.

I have a great LLMD so this doc would not be my primary treating LLMD, but rather a specialist to get a Neuro-Lyme diagnosis to help support an insurance appeal for IV antibiotics.

I have a clinical diagnosis of Lyme, positive Western Blot and Babesia testing, with many neurological symptoms present. Any leads are much appreciated!

If you go to www.VirginiaLyme.org you will see a "doctor referral" page on the menu to your left.

There you can find names and contact information on Lyme treating professionals in all states that have them. A lot of other info there too that you may want to check out, like lists of labs, some support groups, etc.

Even has a NO NO Don't Go list!

Good luck!

How do I find the "do not go" list? I looked around the site and couldn't locate it...

It is below the list of doctors for each state. There are no "not recommended" doctors for California, so that is why you are not seeing any names.

Go to Maryland, for example, and you will see John Hopkins as not recommended.
