Hi ya'll! I haven't been on in quite a while, but for good reason...I have gotten married to a wonderful man and moved back to Florida.
The only drawback to this situation is that I am now looking for a new doctor, as my previous one is five states away....
Although I am currently not treating for Lyme itself anymore, the whole mix of Lyme and Bartonella and mold and the whole lot of other stuff is still so involved with where I have come from and in my continuing chronic fatigue and remaining various symptoms that I really want to find a Lyme literate doctor. I am sure that I am not done with mold, and metal is of ongoing concern. In any case, due to our situation right now, St. Pete or Tampa is about as far as we can go. I've looked at a Dr. in Oldsmar, but can't afford to go to him....
Anyways, thanks to you all so much! I have been so greatly blessed with so much healing so far...stand fast, y'all!

You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are. There was a good one in Tampa, but he retired.
Also most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
Btw - please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems from Lyme.
