Looking for an LLMD in GA, but from what I have read there are few to none. I'm willing to travel, so any recommendations are welcome 😊 Thank you!

Daniela,
Is this request for an 8 year old child?
It makes a difference because most lyme docs won't treat children. The one I recommend only treats children over age 11.

Hi TF, yes, actually it is for my 8-year old son. I'm so sorry, I didn't realize it made a difference. I'm glad you told me. Thank you!

Daniela, to keep from getting a lot of doctors' names that only treat adults, I suggest you edit the title of your post and also your first post to include "for child" and in the first post, say that the child is 8 years old.
The way this thread is now, if folks just read your first post and then write back to you, you are going to get a lot of useless help.

Oh, I didn't realize this was for an eight year old. The LLMD I was going to recommend doesn't see children that young. I'm sorry.

PM sent with some names of LLMDs who treat children on the East Coast.
Initially, you didn't mention how old your son was. We need to know because some LLMDs only treat adults, others children, while some see both.
You should change the title of your post and include "for 8 y.o child". To do this, click the pencil/paper icon, make your changes, then click "Edit Post".
