I have just been told that I have had Lyme at some point in my life. Symptoms go back 15 years.
I have an overactive immune system, too many natural killer cells, causing multiple miscarriages 15 years ago.
Was treated with IVIG for that problem to maintain pregnancies.
Had terrible joint pain after first birth and has continued on and off in severity. Diagnosed with osteoarthritis.
I've had heart rhythm problems, migraine type headaches since the first of this year and my right eye has shrunk in size.
I need a physician to help navigate this new diagnosis. I am with a headache and pain management group at a learning hospital in Tampa. It's been 5 days since they emailed the test results and I have not heard from them with a plan.
Thank you for your help.

You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are. There was a good one in Tampa, but he retired.
Also most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
