I'm 20 years of age, and I was bit almost 4 years ago. I got the bulls eye and flu-like symptoms, but I thought it was just a spider bite.

All these other symptoms started happening to me within the first year, and I was sure it was Lyme disease.

After seeing a specialist in Santa Barbara, I let the idea go of having Lyme after being told by this doctor that I was too young to have Lyme(?!), and that they dont like to work with patients under age, and sent me on my way.

Symtoms have worsened over the years. Fortunately, I'm not visually disabled..or is that fortunate..? I'd probably be taken more seriously based off of the handful of doctors I've been brushed off by! But I do struggle daily with unseen symtpoms.

I can't work or make money for my family. I just had a baby and my fiance has to provide for the three of us..thats rough, especially in CA. The least I'd like to achieve is getting on disability, but I'm sure you all know how impossible that is!

I've seen a holistic doctor that specializes in lyme a few times, but there's just something off about him. Sometimes it seems like he doesnt knkw what hes doing, and sometimes he does. He never informs me of anything or explains things..he just asks questions and tells me to do certain things.

He put me on a low dose of safe antibiotics during my pregnancy and got me a positive lyme and co infection test that i paid almost $500 for. Ive spent over $1500 just to SEE this guy a few times, and its not going anywhere..
