I'm looking for a llmd around central new york. I've had a negative test and 2 Dr's see me but not give me any type of diagnosis. I have the bullseye rash and an expanding rash all over my body and itching like crazy on top of some on and off muscle pains. I just need some type of answer besides it must be an allergy. I feel like I'm being brushed off and don't want it to go too far. Any help/advise much appreciated thank you so much in advance.

If you have the bulls eye rash, you have Lyme----according to the CDC!! Take plenty of pictures. Anyone who isn't treating you for Lyme with the rash is either incredibly ignorant (not uncommon) or afraid to diagnose you.
I'm not sure about doctors in Central NY. I will PM you with one name of someone who is supposed to be good.
You should check the "Support Groups" section on the upper left here for the group closest to you. They would know the best people in your area. Tell them your situation with the rash and the acute Lyme.
Others will respond with links and lists, etc.
You definitely need to get treatment as soon as possible. When you do call to make an appointment, if they are booked up, tell them your situation, ie, acute Lyme with a bullseye rash, and ask to be put on a waiting list. Also keep calling for a cancellation. The squeaky wheel gets the grease!

Welcome to Lymenet! PM sent for upstate NY.
The bull's-eye rash is definitive for Lyme.
You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Btw - I know you are new to Lymenet, but please break up your posts into 2-3 sentence paragraphs, as there are people on Lymenet who cannot read large blocks of text due to neurological problems from Lyme.
To do this click the pencil/paper icon, make your changes, then click "Edit Post". Thanks.
