I am a Lyme sufferer with two children infected. I need to have more children tested. We go to dc for treatment. But I must have a diagnosis before they will treat my other children that I suspect have it. It has been 5+ years since my diagnosis and I was wondering if there were more options now.

You all need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are.
Also most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":

From what others in Ohio and the Pittsburgh area have told me, we have better lyme doctors in the Maryland/D.C. area than both Ohio and Pittsburgh.
What ages are the children? Based on that, I can tell you which doctors are options for you.
