I have symptoms that are getting increasingly worse over time and have reached the point that my QoL is being greatly reduced. I have visited multiple Drs and specialists that have tried to find other reasons for my symptoms and will not consider Lyme disease. Please help me locate a Dr that can help. Thank you

South of Washington, D.C. there are no really good lyme doctors, so those from the south have to come north.
If you are willing to come to the D.C. area once every 3 months, you can see the doc I highly recommend. He will do monthly telephone appointments the other 2 months.
And, there is no wait to get in with him. He had lyme himself. He follows the Burrascano protocol with improvements when it comes to antibiotic treatment.
I am SURE he could help you. Folks from Florida, Tennessee, Texas, New Mexico, Ontario, NY, Ohio, etc. come to be treated by him. No real complaints by anybody.
Let me know if you want the name. I have MANY happy patient reports. He helps folks get well. And, he knows how to diagnose lyme disease or whatever else is causing your symptoms. So, if it isn't lyme, he can figure out what it really is.
You would like him.

Welcome to Lymenet! PMsent for FL, VA & MD.
You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between, so you need to go where they are. At least half of all Lyme patients travel out-of-state for treatment. None in SC.
Also, most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
Read the books written by the top LLMD, Dr. H, titled, "Why Can't I Get Better?" and "How Can I Get Better?". They are an excellent source of information.
Also read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Check your local library or buy it used on Amazon.
