Hello I am looking for a 'llmd here in NH. I have seen a ND for lyme symptoms and he has confirmed I have been exposed to lyme and bartonella in the past. Now I just need to find an M.D. who can treat it. Thanks!

Until others come along that know the NH docs, take a look at the lyme support groups in your state and nearby states.
See Support Groups on the left side of the page. Contact as many as you can and ask them which doctors are getting people well.
You see, many doctors treat lyme disease, but very few of them know enough to get rid of it for a person. You want the doc with the most expertise possible to give you the best chance of getting rid of this hard to cure disease.
A doctor whose practice is strictly lyme disease will generally have the most expertise. The doc is the key to getting rid of this horrendous disease. Can't emphasize that enough.
And, the more you know about what good treatment looks like, the better able you will be to evaluate any treatment any doctor gives you.
To get your education on lyme disease (which is really a number of diseases) I suggest you read and study the Burrascano Lyme Treatment Guidelines found here:
I got rid of lyme, bartonella, and babesiosis over 12 years ago now by going to a doctor who followed the Burrascano protocol.
Then, I sent at least 5 of my friends to Burrascano type doctors and they also got rid of their diseases.
That's why I believe in the Burrascano protocol--because I have seen it work over and over again. And I have heard Dr. Burrascano speak many times. His expertise is amazing.
Burrascano was the most successful lyme doctor on the planet. The best lyme doctors follow his protocol and add to it.

You can go to www.MarylandLyme.org and look at the menu to your left you will see "DOCTOR REFERRALS".
Click there to find the names and contact information for health care professionals in many fields who are treating Lyme & TBD's in all of the states that have them.
Here are some ways to locate alternative health care professionals too if needed.

You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are.
Also, most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
Read the books written by the top LLMD, Dr. H, titled, "Why Can't I Get Better?" and his new one, "How Can I Get Better". They are an excellent source of information.
Also read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. Get it at your local library or buy it used on Amazon.
