Added a new page on the Lyme Doc website that may be able to help those requiring information on medical marijuana in states where it is legal.

It has a doctor locator and information on telemedicine too. Also has a link to provide information for international resources regarding medical marijuana.

That's interesting - thanks.

And here in CA where it just became legal this year, for everyone, even if they're out of state or international (! - are we having fun yet?!), now even those with medical need can walk in as recreational use patients. Only difference being that those with medical use cards don't pay the taxes that recreational users do.

Wow! Thanks Robin3958395

Hadn't put all that together. Sounds like a crazy situation! Wonder if it increases the use of marijuana or just protects the ones already using? The stats would be interesting don't you think?

Taxes, oh yes. Can't forget taxes! Geeze!

Yes, people have had a pretty big collective grin on their faces here since the new year! 6 dispensaries out of 46 in the Bay Area got permission to start selling rec pot, and one of them is around the corner from me. All the 6 had lines around the block the first weekend!

Answer to your question re increasing first-time users and protecting those already using, I'd say it does both.

Now, not a simple matter here if you're going to use it medicinally - I spoke with the club owner and he said they have 500 products!!! So they are actually very busy orienting all these new people and have extra staff on hand to do so.

What I understand numbers-wise so far, 4 states have legal rec pot - CO, WA, OR and now CA. I think 11 states have legalized medical cannabis.

Here's a very new LDo article about a CO doctor treating Lyme patients with cannabis.

Medical marijuana is not always helpful. My brother was prescribed medical marijuana and he also give some to our dog. Our dog died shortly after. So, I don't believe in its medical features

I suggest taking some CBD oil instead of medical marijuana. It has the same effect and is less harmful. If you compare THC levels in CBD oil and medical marijuana, you will see that CBD oil is way more innocent. Besides, I still believe that medical marijuana can be highly addictive, despite what some people may believe. After I had discovered CBD oil for myself, I forgot about irritability and anxiety.

That's great, thanks for sharing. Now, this is a very relevant topic, and many people are looking for answers related to medical marijuana.
About a year ago, I was also in great need of medical marijuana. I was in a terrible accident and injured my leg. My leg was constantly and very ill. Only the CBD oil helped me. After a while, the pain just became less. I don't know how this is even possible.
I have now switched to the THC Vape pen. This is very convenient.
I think it's very cool that marijuana is legalized in a bit of bit by all countries. This will be a relief from the pain for many.
