I am looking for an inpatient or intensive outpatient treatment center for my 20 year old son who has been battling Lyme, co-infections and mold toxicity for 4+ years now. He's had a recent relapse and is not doing well at all both physically and mentally. He just wants to give up. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

That's too bad. People should not give up. The trick is to see what works for us and it's a process. Is he seeing a good LLMD? We usually have discussions about medical care in the Medical Question or even General Support, if you care to discuss further with folks here.

Welcome to Lymenet Nicksmom98

So sorry about your son, just heartbreaking.

Many caretakers have been searching for in-patient treatment centers. I suggest you contact the Maine Lyme Disease support group in your area. There are volunteers who work tirelessly to help others struggling with this horrendous disease.

Hope you find a facility for your son. Prayers going out to your family.
