My husband was bitten by a tick and developed a bullseye rash. Not too many other symptoms yet but he’s also not getting treatment. Our local clinic has been awful, tested too soon and refused to put him on antibiotics. It’s 7 weeks since the bite and I want to get him to a LLMD ASAP. He is not someone who willing goes to the doctor so I need to find a good fit on the first try. We’re in Brooklyn, NY and have Magnacare insurance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Welcome to Lyment Cwellsjones

Start by reading and researching everything about Lyme Disease and why you need to find a LLMD(Lyme Litterate Medical Doctor), here;

http://flash.lymenet.org/ubb/ultimatebb.php/topic/2/13239

You can request a LLMD through ILADS here;

https://www.ilads.org/patient-care/provider-search/

You can request a LLMD through Global Lyme Alliance here;

https://globallymealliance.org/education-awareness/find-medical-professional/

There is a LLMD in N.Y.City that will treat ASAP for any tick bites. I will send you a private message.

Also, join your area's Lyme support group.

They can offer their experiences with your area's Lyme providers treatments and Sucess stories.
