Welcome to Lymenet MerCat
I know of only 1 LLMD in Tenessee so I recommend you contact the following organizations provided in the links below for more diverse options to choose from.
You must research all LLMD'S provided to you. To do this you can google for patient reviews or contact your local Lyme support group. Here's your support group; https://m.facebook.com/groups/344065058957221/
Start researching all you can on Tick and Vector Borne Illnesses. You must be your own health-care advocate. Lyme is very complicated and very expensive to treat. Utilize lymenet's 'search' engine for treatment protocols, supplements, detox, diet, and ALL things Lyme posted by lymenet's members first-hand experiences. Feel free to post any questions you may have. We love to help. 💚
I will send you a private message.

You should add "in TN or surrounding states" in your title so people will know specifically where you are looking. To do this, click on the "Edit Post" tab, make your changes, then click "Edit Post" on the bottom.
I don't know of any LLMDs in TN.
You need to be evaluated and treated by a Lyme-literate doctor (LLMD). Non LLMDs have no clue about this horrible disease or its complex treatment!
A LLMD is one who has treated Lyme disease and the co-infections which come with it for many years and has gotten patients well. A good one will follow Dr. B's Guidelines, the "gold standard" for Lyme treatment.
Unfortunately, LLMDs are far and few between. You need to go where they are. At least half of all Lyme patients go out-of-state for proper treatment.
Also most LLMDs do not accept insurance due to the politics surrounding this horrible disease. Read poster TF's explanation, "Why Lyme Doctors Don't Take Insurance":
Read the books written by the top LLMD, Dr. H, titled, "Why Can't I Get Better?" and "How Can I Get Better?". They are an excellent source of information.
Also read "Cure Unknown" by Pamela Weintraub. View "Under Our Skin" and "Under Our Skin2: Emergence". Check the local library or buy them used on online.
