Thought for the day....... "How do the geese know when to fly to the sun? Who tells them the seasons? How do we, humans, know when it is time to move on? As with the migrant birds, so surely with us, there is a voice within, if only we would listen to it, that tells us so certainly when to go forth into the unknown." Elizabeth Kubler-Ross

YOU are the most important part of your healing.

Many of you may say "I have already done this"

Well......Do it again and again. Believe in you. Leave nagative remarks at the door.

Get alkaline DRINK WHOLE LEMON JUICE EVERYDAY.. Do not go crazy on a yeast free diet. Just eat right! This is a automimunne disease. We loose all sorts of vitamins and minerals. NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT ANSWER.

When you try to eliminate certain foods/or add certain vitamins.... you are leashing out against all odds. Expecting...hopeing for the best outcome. Did they know? Are they doctors? Are they insurance specialists and if so.... could they have saved my life, could they have saved me money?

Doctors...as we know them. We expect them to have the best knowledge. We forget they are human too. Are we getting what we think is the best?

Follow one example one step at a time. If it does not work in 30 days give it up quickly and go to the next. Don't loose time.

This is so messed up. Foolow YOUR instincts.

Hi there, Kathy Boss!!

Thanks for your wonderful positive comments and personal words of wisdom. We are definitely the most important person on our medical team and we have to be pioneers in our treatment. Our good docs don't live in our skins 24/7.

Hope you are doing well out there in El Paso!!!

here are some good quotes already here...but I can't resist adding a few more: two touting diversity and one relishing "doubt".... "that low kinds live without!" Quest.

You don't get harmony when everybody sings the same note.--Doug Floyd

Greetings, I am pleased to see that we are different. May we together become greater than the sum of both of us.--Vulcan greeting

I can live with doubt and uncertainty and not knowing. I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong. I have approximate answers and possible beliefs and different degrees of certainty about different things, but I'm not absolutely sure of anything and there are many things I don't know anything about...

Thought for the day....... "Life isn't supposed to be an all or nothing battle between misery and bliss. Life isn't supposed to be a battle at all. And when it comes to happiness, well, sometimes life is just okay, sometimes it's comfortable, sometimes wonderful, sometimes boring, sometimes unpleasant. When your day's not perfect, it's not a failure or a terrible loss. It's just another day." Barbara Sher

Thought for the day....... "We are, perhaps, uniquely among the earth's creatures, the worrying animal. We worry away our lives, fearing the future, discontent with the present, unable to take in the idea of dying, unable to sit still." Lewis Thomas

Thought for the day....... "Fear is a question: What are you afraid of, and why? Just as the seed of health is in illness, because illness contains information, our fears are a treasure house of self-knowledge if we explore them." Marilyn Ferguson

Blessed With Stress

Those few who're stressed beyond what's fair
can find a strength in struggle's lair
can come to know a deeper care
and realize things they're want to share.

For like the tree our spirits grow
towards nearest light we come to know
past any force, however slow
whatever vessel guides our flow.

The quality of light we find -
the nutrients our roots can bind -
the space where branches unwind -
is most determined by our mind.

And that is where we differ most
for other trees this planet hosts
and why we're so darn quick to boast
the spirit of a Holy Ghost.

When really we're just nature's leap-
a brand new niche she's found to reap-
a fresh step in her subtle creep
towards forms of life that she can keep.

And that is why she loves to stress
those beings who have been most blessed
for it is they that she has guessed
who'll find the path to save the rest!
