My husband just got a call back from a place he interviewed with last week--he starts a new job next Monday, after a year and a half of being out of work!
The really great thing is that benefits start right away--don;t know if they'll cover me because of my "pre-existing condition" or not, but at least he's in!

I'm so glad for you and your hubby. That ought to take some worry off your plate!
We've been through it 2X's. Hubby finally changed to a different field and even though there have been layoff's at his company, he's still got a job!!

Congratulations! I am so happy for your family. My husband has been out of work several times, about three months on average, until he got the job he currently has - so I know a little about what you've gone through.
