first i want to say, im from germany. we have a lyme-board too but yours has way more information about lyme disease than ours.
i got sick 2 years ago.. i started to study mechanical engineering 2007 [got sick 2008].. after 1/2 year of beeing undiagnosed.. i found a llmd which made some good blood tests .. i got my first abx.. since april last year im on abx permanantly.. first i took some borrelia abx.. then 8 months abx for bartonella/blo [my titer was 1:1000 ... ref. was <1:320] .. after that i felt better.. people around me said that im not looking so pale anymore.. i began to talk normally... etc. 9 weeks ago i startet clinda + quinine for 6 weeks.. but i couldnt tolerate high dosage of quinine so i switched to mepron and azi + arte...
first i herxed very hard, didnt feel that bad long time... since monday i stopped the meds because i have to pass my maths exam.. yesterday was ok... but today.. i woke up.... NO headaches at all.. i had headaches 2 years permanently.. sometimes stronger.. sometimes less stronger.. but today i havent anyone. i feld 1/2 good, usually i wake up and feel like a truck hit me at night.
a few hours ago i learned for my maths exam which is satureday.. i couldnt believe it.. i read things and remembered them, i understood the system, i calculated fastly with my head ...
this day was giving me so much energy to go on with treatment.. that i wanted to share it with you.
of course i will start mepron next week again to continue treatment.. and i hope i can write a complete success story next year which include the word symptom-free

I'm so happy you had such a good day. Good luck on your exam. Let us know how it went.
I've been sick for more than a year, and a couple of months ago, I had 3 days in a row where I felt almost normal, for the first time. That's long gone now, and I have other problems making me worse at the moment, but the fact that I remembered what it felt like to feel normal gave me hope that I will get more of those days later on, and eventually I will get well.
I hope you keep getting better on your new treatment.
