This month is 3 years of treatment for me. I have improved a good deal; but am left with mental stuff to deal with.
Not sure if I think the mental stuff is Lyme in the brain or just the stress of dealing with lyme or maybe a little of both. I definetely know that Lyme triggered it and I am taking psych meds to try and reverse it.
But on a positive note, I have come a very long way physically. I use to be in so much pain and had such horrid fatigue, I called it the death fatigue because I felt like I would die.
I still get fatigued but it is sooo much better than it was and the pain is sooo much better too. I still have issues with my knees and heels, but not too severe. I use to not be able to use my arms and hands and that is completely better.
I also had about 40 something other symptoms and most are gone or almost gone.
Not sure if I believe at this point that I will ever feel as good as I did before lyme. Maybe in time that will happen. But I am happy with the improvement thus far.
Just thought I would report where I am at 3 years of treatment.

thank you for posting this. I'm getting discouraged with treatment so this came at a great time. Great news, hope you sort the rest of the stuff out...
